How was your Saturday?

Understanding Ivee, Days Otherwise Mundane
I had a class today. Financial Management. The whiteboard was covered with figures they call numbers that, naturally, I do not understand. Formulas were all over and my brain was screaming "STOP!" Everything that the professor was saying was gibberish to me.
There was even a point during the discussion when my vision became blurry, either because I was too sleepy or my neurons were about to give up on me. I was surprised I didn't faint. I, however, managed to nod in agreement to the professor's every word. Of course he did not need to know that I didn't really comprehend. At least I stayed awake until the end of the class.
I can never co-exist with numbers. Never. But I am not the only one who has this, er, condition. Some (or most) of my classmates in college also freak out when faced with a mathematical problem. Thank goodness for multi-tasking mobile phones because we cannot live without calculators. When we eat out we all just stare at the bill after until the bravest among us finally volunteers to divide it.
I'm so glad that subject was over. I'm so glad this Saturday is almost through.
