Guess what this blog is about?

Oh I'm such a dork. As I type this entry I'm actually listening to the COMPLETE soundtrack of the Sound of Music--original version--which I conveniently downloaded from Multiply. Yes, complete including the "Morning Hymn" by the nuns. I always feel like a child again whenever I watch or hear the songs from this film. It definitely is my favorite movie of all times…until Kung Fu Panda! Hehe.

Anyway, so back to my question. How do you solve a problem like moi? As far as I'm concerned, I am doing my best to be less of a burden to anyone, including myself. But as fate would have it, there will always be instances when I become a headache to others, most of the time to Paul. But believe me I never intend to give anyone a hard time.

Sometimes it's just a case of misunderstanding. You know, the other party taking my action as an offense against them even if in reality all I wanted was to express myself and that action has absolutely nothing to do with them? I think it's all in the manner we take things that other people do. It all depends on us, whether we would let their action affect us negatively or in a positive way, or whether we would be bothered by their gesture at all. My point is if we let others annoy us, then it’s our problem, not theirs. We always have the sole control over our minds.

So again, think positive people and just ignore those who are being big a-holes to you.

And speaking of slapping someone in the face, there is this person to whom I'd love to give one hard Bella Flores sampal for telling lies and abusing people's trust. I KNOW the whole story dear, unfortunately. I really feel sorry for you, but I cannot tolerate such behavior.

Face your problems, no matter how hard they may be, and STOP telling LIES. It'll be easier to solve any predicament if you are honest to people from whom you seek help and, most especially, to yourself.

On a different note, I just discovered the music of Marie Digby (hidden somewhere in our PC's music library) and I'm lo-lo-lovin' it!

He doesn't care if I gain weight. I will always be the sexiest woman in his eyes.

He doesn't care if the whole world hears him say "I love you" to me. All he cares about is that I hear it clearly.

He doesn't care if I take at least an hour to get ready for our date. He waits patiently and flashes me that genuine smile while telling me "you look great."

He doesn't care if I watch too much primetime soaps. He doesn't call to say good night until past 10 when all the soaps that I follow is through.

And that's one reason to smile today.

Last night I had a super bitin meeting with Sandz, Katts and Minda at Super Bowl of China in Glorietta. Super bitin because Katts wasn't feeling well so we had to cut the chikahan short. And because it was a super short get-together, here are the only photos that we were able to take:

Can you believe we only took two decent photographs given that Sandz and I are both hardcore camwhores? (well we took four but these were the better shots).

Get well soon Katts and let's have another night (or day) like this sometime in the VERY near future. I've missed you all so much (even Minda*! lol!).

*Minda is still my officemate but she's "confined" in the BIG boss' office the whole day. I only get to see her during lunch and in the wash room.

Aaaaarrrrggghh!!!!

As you may have noticed in my previous entry, yesterday hasn't been a good one for me. There was big trouble over at the love department, but things are okay now. We have settled our differences and finally agreed to compromise. For how long the white flag will be up? I don't know. But I am determined to keep the promises that I made and be more understanding and patient.

Enough of the love stuff. Let's move on to the objects of my lust for the moment:

I don't know how to process my own films. SO WHAT?! Kaya nga may Digiprint di ba?! I don't know much about the technical aspects of my camera. SO WHAT? Heck, what's there to know? It's freakin' PLASTIC!

I'm not sure why I was so affected by this blog entry that I stumbled upon the other day. Baka guilty nga ako of being a TH lomographer, but I genuinely enjoy this stuff! Hindi naman ako nagpapaka-dalubhasa and I don't think anybody is. We just really appreciate the product of clicking without thinking. And in my case, I guess lomo fulfills my frustration in real photography. Hay. Kung ayaw mag-lomo, wag nalang sana magsabi ng kung ano-ano laban sa mga may hilig dito.

May kakaiba sa nasakyan kong jeep kanina pauwi na biyaheng Pateros galing Guadalupe. Pagsakay palang ng mga pasahero ang bungad agad ng babeng "washing" (na I assumed ay asawa ng driver) ay "bayad-bayad ho muna tayo ha," meaning wala siyang hahayaang mag-123 sa amin, kaya kung gusto naming makauwi eh magbayad na agad kami.

So lahat naman kami ay masunuring nagbayad ng mga pamasahe. Yung babaeng nasa tapat ko nagbayad ng P7.50 sa halip na P8.50 dahil estudyante sya at malapit lang naman ang bababaan niya. Pagkakita ni Mrs. Washing sa binayad ng bagets:

Mrs. Washing: Estudyante ka?
Bagets: Opo.
Mrs. Washing (siniyasat nang mabuti ang puting uniform ng bagets): Nursing ka ba?
Bagets (napangiti dahil chini-chika sya ni Mrs. Washing): Ay opo!
Mrs. Washing: Walang discount and nursing.

Naglaho ang smile sa face ng bagets na nagulat sa sinabi ni Mrs. Washing at wala siyang nagawa kundi ang kumuha ng barya para idagdag sa binayad niya na "kulang."

Ang tanong ko ngayon ay: Talaga bang walang discount ang mga estudyante ng nursing sa mga jeep? Ano ang basehan ng exemption na ito? Hindi ba't parang unfair naman yata sa magulang ng mga nursing students yun?

...talagang ni-research ko kung nasa batas ba na walang discount ang mga nursing students sa pamasahe sa jeep. Ito ang nakita ko:

Ayan. Malinaw na mali ang ginawang "exemption" ni Mrs. Washing sa kawawang nursing student dahil pre-med palang naman ang course niya at hindi pa med proper na maituturing na post-grad. UNLESS nabago na ang batas na ito at hindi palang na-a-update and website ng LTFRB.
