Cool change!
ivee
Finally! Easier to remember and type URLs here at TABULAS! Goodbye "~", hahaha! AND, you can still change your username.
How cool is that?! I hope they also start adding new (easy to customize) templates as well.

Bad Start
ivee
Umaga.
Gising. Kain. Toothbrush. Ligo. Bihis. Alis.
Sakay.
Biyahe. Mejo traffic pero umaandar naman. Gapang.
Lahat yata ng babaan may bumaba. Starbucks. Landmark (kapatid ko). Gamboa. Okay parin.
Driver: may PLDT?
2 babae in unison: Meron.
Larga.
Larga ulit.
Huli. Colorum pala kami. Nye.

I'm gaining weight...
ivee
...again. And FAST! ACK! panic, PANIC!
It's so unfair! I worked HARD to slim down just a teenie, tiny bit and now because of these
hormones I'm getting all flubby again, just lika that. Sad.
AND I have to do it BEFORE November...
Lots of deadlines to beat this week. Samahan mo pa ng makukulit na boss (except my immediate boss, of course. she's the coolest!). Pressure, PRESSURE!
Good luck to me.
But at least now I have something really EXCITING to look forward to.
Abangan!

Another big day in history
ivee
Times like these make me feel thankful that I am no longer in high school. Why? Because details of recent events in the country are sure to be added to the already looong list of things to memorize in history classes. Names of important personalities (Doble, Abalos, ERAP, the three justices, Ms. Teen South Carolina 2007, Angel Locsin, Camille Pratts...*pun intended
), dates, and places.
What's the point in remembering all these anyway?
I'm just glad that I am not forced to care about all these anymore. But I still do. This time I care not because I need to ace an exam or submit a paper. I care because I'm still a citizen of this country and I really want to be updated on all the chismis going around, whether in showbiz or politics, haha!
Hay. This entry is going nowhere so might as well end it now. Plus, I have tons of work to do.
bye!

A Jolli lunch
ivee
I had this Jollibee garden (or was it green?) salad in Asian dressing for lunch today.
Daming trabaho. In fact mukhang mag-o-OT ako bukas.
I agree.
How sad. Sana may matira pa.
Oh well. That's it for now. Have a beautiful weekend everyone!

Not this time
ivee
Unfortunately, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe only placed second to the UP Pep Squad in this year's Cheerdance Competition sponsored by Samsung.
In fairness, UP's performance was really outstanding and they truly deserve the win. Congratulations mga Isko!
As for UST, okay lang 'yon! You were still able to amaze us and we know that you did your best. Pero ganyan talaga ang buhay. Bawi nalang next year!
Go USTe!

Christening Crasher
ivee
That's me. Today I sort of crashed the Christening of a high school friend's daughter. Well she said she went to our house a few days ago to personally invite me but nobody's home and since she didn't know my new cellphone number, there was no other way to "formally" invite me to the event. Also, she had been sooo busy with the preparations for the reception. I went anyway because I wanted to see my old classmates. Nakakahiya ba 'yun?
Moving on, after the reception I hurried home to watch the UAAP Cheerdance Competition. Sad. (see previous entry to find out why).
And after that, my sister and I went to Market! Market! to do some grocery shopping. Hay. We kept on reminding each other to "stick to the budget" (meaning go STRAIGHT TO THE GROCERY and AVOID THE TIANGGE AREA), but upon reaching the mall, we headed straight to the "forbidden strip" and ended up buying clothes. And then we went to the grocery to proceed with our original mission. We finished at around 8:30 p.m.
This weekend has been a good one. I just hope I could say the same for the week ahead.

Home Alone
ivee
Everyone's out. Brother's in school (or at least that's where he said he'd be), mom and sis are on their way to the mall. Paul is in Alabang for his *bleep*. I was supposed to go with mom and sis, but after remembering that I'm saving up for something, I opted to be the taong-bahay for the day instead. So here I am surfing away and later on maybe I'll watch some dibidis.
Moving on, last nigt was supposed to be a Coffee Night with my college gang but they were all unavailable so it was cancelled. Since we had nothing else to do, Paul and I just watched I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry at Walter Mart. Okay naman. At first I thought Paul would disgree because he really can't stand two men being intimate with each other, but since it was comedy naman and not a hardcore gay film, and it's Adam Sandler, we figured wala naman sigurong ganoong scenes. Mabuti naman at wala nga. Well, meron sa bandang huli but it's not between Chuck and Larry.
Anyway, I think I could use some time alone so I will enjoy this day!
Have a happy weekend you guys!

My day was fine but the whole week has been quite tiring. Good thing a dear friend treated me for a movie tonight and for a moment there I've totally forgotten about all the stress that have been weighing me down.
But one thing could have made all my worries disappear.
I asked for it.
I hoped for it.
I looked forward to it.
But I didn't get it.
To the dear friend, who is a girl, by the way, thank you for the impromptu "date."
And to you who didn't give me what I needed the most tonight, I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!
Kung ika'y nalulungkot...
ivee
1. The More the Manyer! Pinoy Cliches and Other Words of Wisdumb
3. The 500 People You Meet in Hell by Jessica Zafra-Ito ang paborito ko. It's my first time to read Jessica Zafra (well, actually I do read her column sometimes) at tama nga ang mga kakilala ko na halos sambahin na ang babaeng ito.
