Happy Birthday!
ivee

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY

to my one, my only Pauldo!

Yep, Paul turns 22 today. No big celebration--yet. Just a simple dinner with his family tonight. Sunday will be the big day for us because it's the ONLY day that we are both available. Can't wait!

I thank God that He created such a wonderful being. Paul is a real blessing not only to me but to the many people whose lives he has touched  in different ways. May he continue to be gifted with good health, contentment, love and complete happiness. Happy birthday again baby.

 I LOVE YOU!

Everybody's slacking
ivee

It's one of those i-honestly-have-nothing-to-do days again. And it's not only me who has been doing nothing. Well, it's Friday so that's one reason to feel lazy. Plus, the big boss isn't arriving from his "birthday trip" until later this afternoon and he will be back to work tomorrow. Hay, if only I could leave early and be with Paul. My boss isn't around either so I can't leave our department.

Anyway, there are a few things that I'm looking forward to this weekend:

1. Paul's birthday celebration. We're planning to go somewhere and I really hope it pushes through. Sana hindi umulan.

2. DVD marathon. Paul gave me the complete season 6 DVD set of Gilmore Girls and I have been dying to watch the episodes that I missed on TV.

3. Visit the mall...and actually BUY something that I LIKE.

4. Get MORE sleep.

Happy weekend everyone!

Sob

Paul and I will not be going anywhere tomorrow. He's sick.Poor Paul, I don't think he enjoyed his birthday. He hasn't been feeling well since Thursday. Ang tigas naman kasi ng ulo eh. I told him not to go to work and just take a rest but he still went. Ayan tuloy nabinat. I'm so excited pa naman for tomorrow but that's okay. There's always a next time. Mas importante naman syempre ang health nya. Besides, he really needs a break. He's been so busy with work and school at minsan nakikisabay pa ko sa pressure so now is actually a good time to take a break from all that. I hope he gets better soon.

So this morning I managed to watch the GG episodes that I missed. It felt a little weird to be watching it at 9 in the morning, but it was just as fun as watching it at 9 p.m.

Still looking forward to Sunday!

Loser poetry 101
ivee

Can't even think of a title for this one

Shuffle, shuffle, cheer me up

Play my music, make me hop

Let your earphones tickle me

Let your button feel my glee

From Beatles to J.Lo, to the Cranberries,

You never fail to take away my worries.

Your reggae mix soothe my soul

Your alternative beats keep me whole

Shuffle, shuffle, make me happy

Take away the pain in me

Play Ever After by Bonnie Bailey

Dove by Mooney or any Hed Kandi

Without your music, I am devastated

That is why I keep you updated

Promise that you'll never leave me

And I'll try not to drain your battery

HOW PATHETIC, hahaha!!! wala lang akong magawa.

Trimmed and Threaded
ivee

Today after work I dropped by the salon to have my bangs trimmed. It's starting to annoy me so I had to tame it a bit. Anyway, while cutting my bangs the stylist suggested that I should have my eyebrows threaded too.

After seeing that he had a point, I agreed at hindi naman pala masakit sa kilay, sa bulsa lang.

It's payday Friday, yahoo! Just this afternoon I've already burned about P400 on kakikayan, hehe!

Happy weekend guys!

Sa wakas...
ivee

Paul and I finally went to EK last Sunday and we had a blast! It was actually a super late celebration of his birthday. Sinulit talaga namin yung P500 na fee! Here's the tally:

Flying Fiesta - 4 times. We also love the accent of the "VO", haha!

Anchors Away - 3 times. Our second favorite.

Up-up and Ayaw - once. Ayaw namin dito dahil nakakahilo.

Roller Skater - 2 times. Masaya pero super bitin. Sana man lang dalawang ikot to.

Bump Car - Once. Ang loser ko dito. Na-stuck ako at yung isa pang "rider" hanggang sa time's up na.

Swan Lake - Once. Ang hirap i-control. Pinagpawisan si Paul dito, hehe

Rio Grande Rapids - once. Ayaw ko sanang mabasa pero okay na rin, masaya naman except for the yucky water. eeeww talaga! hehe

Jungle Log Jam - once.

Rialto - Twice. I love Yogi Bear! and all the Hanna-Barbara characters.

4D Discovery Theater - once.

Grand Carousel - once. Oo, pati ito ay hindi namin pinalampas! As a kid I think I only rode on a carousel once masaya pala! hehe..

We did not dare try the Space Shuttle ride and the Wheel of Fate as well as the Condour rides were closed.

Hay, gusto ko na agad bumalik dun! Ayaw ko pang pumunta dun dati eh noh? hehe..

At EK

Wala masyadong tao pagdating namin kaya masaya.

We really had a great time and we will definitely do it again soon!

Mga nakakabaliw na balita
ivee

Actually late na ang mga balitang ito:

3. Pasok ang USTe sa finals, yahoo! At dahil diyan manonood kami ni Paul ng first game bukas. Yun ay kung hindi pa naubos ng mga Atenista ang mga tickets...Not really psyched about it pero dahil sobrang fanatic si Paul, sige pagbibigyan ko naman sya.

4. Buntis si Kris. Hehe...

*Paul brought me Mc Donald's rice burger this afternoon (chicken supreme) at hindi ko nagustohan. Parang biko kasi yung rice, malagkit.

ivee

...at hindi dapat maging kampante sa one-point-lead with one second remaining. ONE.

Paul went with his brother instead and they had a great time naman. They bonded, which they really needed since Paul has been so busy lately.

Anyway, may game 2 pa naman at sana umabot pa sa game 3...

Work nanaman bukas. Hope this week turns out good.

What happened to me yesterday
ivee

Monday, September 25, 2006

Everybody's in a good mood today. Yup, everyone except me. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed again and as usual I was hoping for anything that would suspend work but nothing happened. So here I am sitting in front of my primitive PC thinking of ways to accomplish my day's tasks without boring myself.

Geesh, this might still be an aftermath of UST's loss to Ateneo yesterday. Never thought I'd be so affected.

Anyway, my boss is screaming at her grandson again on the phone. It's normal actually and I'm getting used to it. Sometimes she gets to scream at her grandson in person when he comes here.

I'm close to being broke again and I haven't even bought anything that I really like.

I'm craving for Figaro's Caramel Frost Light…yyuumm!

I finally bought a card reader and it works wonders! Hehe. I can now transfer files, especially pics, from my phone to my PC and upload them wherever I want to or vice-versa. Before I use a bluetooth dongle but it only works one way. I couldn't transfer files from my phone to the PC. I tried to "discover" how it works the other way but eventually gave up and resorted to more gastos, hehe. Well sulit naman because I'm very happy with what this tiny piece of plastic can do.

*later on I would find out that CD R-King is selling card readers that are waayy cheaper. Olats nanaman si Ivee...

Last night I was chatting with my Aunt Alice and cousin Jessica who are in Canada. Their web cam was on so I got to see how grown up Jess is already. The last time I saw her in person she was just a little girl who loved belting out Brittney Spears' Hit Me Baby One More Time, haha! She's so adorable, just like her other siblings Kimi, Gino and Daniel. I really wish they could all come home even for just a few weeks. The whole family misses them.

I asked her to visit my blog and she was like; "you have a tattoo?" when she saw my dolphin henna print in the picture. She said she wanted to get one with her sister from Miami Ink, wherever that is…well, good luck on that plan of yours but seriously I don't think Tita Alice and Tito Ramon would approve of that, haha!

I feel so uninspired to do anything today…hay.

Wish this day gets better.

Update: it did get better!
