Whatever happened to Ms. Johnson?
ivee
finally! a time to write a blog!!! actually I'm technically stealing this time. I'm supposed to be taking a shower already. I have to go to the office for our practice.
yes, wala nang urungan ito. we are actually perfecting the art of making ourselves look silly in front of the company's BIG bosses. they keep on saying that "this is just for fun". well as far as i'm concerned, fun is a lot different from hilarious and humiliating ourselves! pero wala naman akong magagawa kaya bahala na!
anyway, last week i met with ja,kel, anj, candice and paolo again. wow, paolo has really REALLY changed! he's now a full-blown she, hehe.
the agenda of the "meeting" was our gift for Maui. Successful naman at may naisip na kaming plano.
last Tuesday i met with kel at McDonald's to give him the
. i got there first so i ordered a reg. mcFlurry to pass the time. (i was getting tensed coz i wasn't supposed to be out yet, 6 pa labasan ko and it was only 5:30! buti absent si boss, hehe) a guy approached me asking if i have done any commercials before. he said they were making this ad for wow Philippines with regine velasquez and that they're looking for "corporate-looking" people for the ad. i'm not really judgemental, pero iba na ang panahon ngayon so i followed my instinct and immediately turned down the "offer", saying that my company wouldn't allow me. i was silently praying that kel or paul would arrive soon. good thing the guy left and said he understood. he even apologized and explained that it was just his job. nahalata siguro na natakot ako!
ma'am lizzie and i just finnished the 4th issue of Glimpse, the official newsletter of the company. the layout was already sent to the press when ma'am realized that we forgot to include one very important article..talk about major bloopers!
last night we started precticing nga for the presentation. i was so worried coz paul was already there at 5 pm and it was already 7:30 when we actually started. so my poor baby spent hours in the computer shop again
. i asked manong guard to ask him to go up to the office but he refused. nahihiya daw kasi sya. i thought he was gonna be furious but he wasn't. he was even smiling when he saw me (around 9). we had dinner at KFC and headed straight home. i hope to spend more time with him today. we see each other every single day but i still miss him. plus, i have to make bawe, BIG TIME! i did something really stupid, again. I'm so sorry baby..

I had the time to write something but suddenly I felt really lazy to do so. Plus, my pc broke down. Tsk tsk. And I thought it would never give up on me.
Monday, August 15, 2005, Eternal Gardens Memorial Park Corporation celebrated its 29th year anniversary. Yes, this was also the day that the new employees (myself included) stripped ourselves of any shame and performed a dance number to the tune of ____. I did not win anything during the raffle (wala talaga akong swerte sa mga ganyan!!) but I won the Ms. EGMPC. P500 din yun, hehehe. But it gave me another problem, and another event to be nervous about. The Organization Day where I would be the "muse" of Eternal Gardens. It's going to be a bigger gathering because employees of the other companies are going to be there!
Aside from that embarrassment, the evening went well. I'm actually proud because I was a member of the committee in-charge of the program. But towards the end of the program, when the emcees were already announcing the heads of the committees, it hit me that I was supposed to document the whole thing! I totally forgot all about it, probably because of the excitement and my nervousness. Good thing everything was on video and my officemates remembered the details. Whew! The following day (Tuesday) I was able to finish the whole documentary, including the post-evaluation.
Nothing extra-special happened last Tuesday. Just a normal day of Newspaper-reading and of course, the documentation of the event the night before.
Wednesday, August 16, 2005. Since I was chosen to represent EGMPC, I had to attend the practice. I was allowed to wear jeans and shirt that day because it was gonna be so hot at the venue daw. True-enough, para nga kaming sinisilaban dun sa venue! Sabi nga ni Vinz, "Ito na yata ang pinaka malaking microwave na nakita ko!
Thursday, August 17, 2005. Again, an ordinary day…
Friday, August 19, 2004. Paul and I went to Walter Mart. I discovered this cool specialty bookstore called Bibliarch, which sells..well, specialty books, hehe! I wanted to buy some BUT the prices were not as fun to look at as the covers of the books. Maybe I'll just save up so I can shop there someday.
Anyway, we watched The Great Raid with some nachos and Fruitas shakes (we're addicted to these shakes!), plain orange for me, four seasons in Autumn for him. The movie was not as exciting as I thought it would be. And the participation of Filipinos, especially Capt. Juan Pajota, was not really a highlight of the movie. Para ngang siningit lang si Cesar Montano. And I'm not used to Joseph Feinnes playing that kind of role, you know, the "dirty role." He looked so kawawa during the actual raid scene. Nonetheless, he's still hot!
After the movie Paul looked for some pants but didn't find any that he liked. While waiting for him I saw MRC, one of my bosses, waving at me. Huling-huli, hehe..
Saturday, August 20, 2005. The night before, Paul and I agreed to go to SM to my outfit for the Organization Day but I wasn't so much into it because I really wanted to catch on my sleep. In the end, we cancelled and decided to just stay home and watch some dvds. He came with a dvd alright but it was not working. Tsk tsk, as usual it's pirated. Good thing I had back up. I still haven't watch the dvds that Kats lent me and Michee still hasn't returned Mon's dvds. We popped in Big Fish and we both enjoyed it. it had a lot of morals and it wasn't all fantasy pala. Crush ko na rin si Ewan McGregor, who resembles Charlie Sheen.. Then we watched one of our all-time favorites..Monster's Inc.! hehe. I really love the kid, Boo. She's sooo cute!
Sunday, August 21, 2005. It's Michee's birthday!!! After attending Mass (with Mon), I had the chance to sleep some more, hehe.. we had lunch (Paul was with us na this time) then went to Market! Market. My mom, Paul and I had to go first because the rest still had to wait for my two roommates: Bumy and Nimfa.
Since it was a Sunday and the stores were having a sale, and MTV was having a show at the activity center, you van imagine how many people were there! We just strolled, ate at Yellow Cab and strolled some more. I wasn't really in shopping mood kasi ang daming tao. I promised myself not to go malling on weekend, especially on Sundays and on days when the malls are having a sale!!!
Monday, August 22, 2005. It was MRC's birthday yesterday so he treated the whole office with baked macaroni and spaghetti for breakfast and pancit, chicken, shanghay and bbq for merienda/lunch. Grabe, I was culture-shocked! OA. It was like a Pinoy comedy film where the food is served on a presentable buffet table, then the people will dig-in to get food and after a few seconds, the food is gone. Like magic! But it was fun! Walang BM-BM (branch manager). Kahit officer ka pa, babalyahin ka! Hehe. Ang saya!
